Hey all was hoping to pick some brains and see if anyone can help me with ideas of which pieces to upgrade first and any ideas on potential upgrades that will still work within the confinement of the current build (eg. same case, power etc)

I was planning on a Motherboard + CPU upgrade first, preferably a mobo that also has Wireless and bluetooth capabilities. Looking for the best rated gaming hardware and/or the next best (cheaper version) to compare.

My build: https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/MzP64p

for those not going to link.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, I may even have to upgrade pieces 1 at a time and wait to fit them in together.

Best Regards,

Best CPU option for gaming would be an AMD 9800X3D, a step down the AMD 7800X3D but since they're almost similarly priced the 9800 would be the logical option. For a motherboard I would go for a board fitted with a X870(E) chipset, but most of them are still a bit pricy so might be a lot cheaper to invest in a B850 chipset motherboard. Brand might be a personal choice so here a few options going from top tier down;

X870-E

X870

B850
