Was the warranty sticker protecting something on the card?

Hello, newbie here.
I just replaced my PSU & GPU and did something stupid. Ok two things but first things first...on one side of the card it had a film that said remove before use so I removed that and the rest of the stickers as well before reading. Yes I am now aware I voided my warranty and I hope I won't need it but I have to ask: Was the warranty sticker (and the other sticker beside it) protecting something that I need to cover up again? I did peel it off realatively well and I think I remember where to put it but can I leave it?

It is a EVGA Geforce 560.

The stickers shouldn't be 'protecting' anything on your card, so you should be fine. The only trouble I can see happening is if you need to RMA your card later on, since your warranty is now voided you won't be able to get a replacement 🙁

If you mean the sticker on the heat sink plastic shroud, no. It does not protect anything. It is just there to make the card look pretty. It won't void your warranty. What will void your warranty is if you take of the vga cooler (heatsink & fan) & replace with an aftermarket vga cooler.

But even then, if you are able to put it back nicely, no one will be the wiser. 😉

Thanks! I was hoping it wasn't.

I'm not sure what RMA stands for but since the rest of my computer is so old if anything breaksdown its going to get overhauled anyway.

It wasn't the sticker from the plastic I was talking about and I didn't get it that cleanly off 🙁

Thanks for the quick reply.
