Mining is just a software application. Not going to leave any traces for other software to detect.

It is a used card, what it was used for not really that important. You already own it, so unless it is doing something you don't like, just carry on until you replace it with your next purchase.

It's booting up with a white/black screen, and then it goes on about it's business fine, it looks like artifacting but no matter what, i can't reproduce it anywhere other than that first boot up screen. I tried going to 100% usage for 2 hours, nothing, no issues. What the hell is it, and if it's artifacting why does it only appear for a second on boot up only ?

Hmm, that is odd. But it if works after that anyway...

You could extract the vBIOS and compare it to some stock ones for the card. Or just flash the card with the latest vBIOS and see if that takes care of it.

Far as I know the only thing most miners would do to cards is undervolt them so they were more efficient.
