Watchpoint Gibraltar is an escort the payload map in Overwatch with three checkpoints to get the payload to before you achieve victory. You start the match with five minutes on the clock, and each checkpoint you reach adds another two minutes.
Objective A)Get to the first checkpoint.
When you first start off, the payload is sitting in a very bad spot. You are going to need to get it moving, and quickly, because if you don't it's entirely possible you'll get stuck even just trying to leave your spawn point. The building right across from the spawn can become a good sniper's nest since anyone can get up onto the roof, and right in front of the payload is another good sniper spot that is easy to get to for the defenders, so you can get entirely trapped in a crossfire from both positions if you let them stay and set up long enough.
Objective B)Push the payload to the second checkpoint.
Once you've gotten past that sniper's nest and under the bridge to the first checkpoint, things are a bit easier. There are still a lot of high up sniper positions overlooking where you nee to move the payload from, but it's possible to get up to them without ever walking into line of sight of any sniper that may be up there. This is where heroes like Tracer and Reaper excel, since they can take these side paths and eliminate the defenses being set up before the payload even gets there.
Objective C)The third checkpoint
This is a fairly open area you'll have to push the payload through with a lot of catwalks and walkways above that snipers can be laying in wait on. Control the upper areas here and pushing the payload through should be a fairly easy task. Keep up with the flanking maneuvers and you should make it through.
Objective D)The final push
This last push can be very hard, as there are several choke points you have to move the payload through to advance, and then the last stretch you'll have to push it is pretty open and the defenders can set up on all three sides of the area to gun you down in the crossfires. Again, flanking heroes are what are going to win this for you since you will need them to get in and get those defenses cleared before you can finish that push.
