Are they really that quiet? Do they really provide that much extra cooling.

do they look as cool as they appear?

Yes, they are MUCH better than air cooled. And yes, (depending on how quiet your pump is) they really are silent. And, they do provide that much extra cooling, and yes, they look cool.
