Watercooling DDR4 with EKWB block

Ive done a lot of reading into the subject and it seems that a lot of manufacturers are using a thermal adhesive to permanently fix their heat spreaders to the RAM modules.

This is a problem for those of us who want to watercool our memory. The EKWB Monarch X2 and X4 requires you to take off your stock heatspreader in orser to mount the waterblock.

My question is: who here has any experience watercooling DDR4 and is there any knowledge of models that can have the stock heat spreader removed without damaging the component.

Im looking for a quad channel 4x4gb set or a 8x4gb set for use with the X99 chipset.

Ive done some asking around to various manufacturers and I cant get any answers because the companies dont exactly want us taking apart their heatspreaders for the arueable benefits in overclocking watercooled memory can provide.

Another question for you, if you dont mind.

Are you aware of any 8x4 or 8x8 kits without heat spreaders? All I can find is 4x4 or 4x8. I would like to fill all the slots if possible so the waterblock fits a lilttle cleaner. Price isnt much of an issue.

Im considering just purchasing two kits of the G.Skill Value RAM, but I am aware of the stability issues that can occur when mixing RAM kits. Do you think the issues would be major enough to warrant against doing this? and do you know of any kits that would work for this?

Perhaps I just have bad luck finding a kit that matches what I am looking for.
