Hi guys, so, i tried my fittings and they see to fit nicely, but i cannot fully thread the compression ring, it atops before hitting the base. I bought a cheap hose, its very hard one, ahould i buy expensive tubbing that will be aofter and easier to put the compression ring over?? Thanks!!

Solution
The compression ring doesn't need to be fully seated to function properly. If tightening firmly, leaks shouldn't be an issue. If you use boiling water method, it's for aesthetics, really.

Well the o-rings have their give, you don't want to overtighten them. It really looks fine, though the tubing is a bit cloudy.

Define expensive?

The name brand soft tubing does do a pretty decent job of rounding corners without kinking I've found. And no pressure related collapses so far.

OK, i just googled more and se dudes talked about dipping the end of the tube in boiling water, i dipped it for 10 swcpnda or more and, on the second try i was able to fit the compression ring. So, thats the solution i guess!!! I was about to get 10€ or 20€ tubbing, but it seems im fine now.

Also, being cloudy is because i have never used it, if i run some wather through it, it looks clear again

Well, i ended up buying EK Duraflex tubbing, its fully clear and has outer diameter smaller than 16mm = 5/8inch, its outer diameter is smaller, its 15,5mm, wich i hope will make the compression ring fit better
