Watercooling the other rig.....

Alrighty, I am finally going to watercool my other rig!

Or, at least do some planning before I buy the parts...

So, here goes:

System Specs
i5-2500K
Gigabyte Z68X-UD3H-B3
Corsair CX430V2
CM Storm Scout
Radeon 5450

I am only going to cool the CPU, and I have a budget of around $200. The only problems I see here are the case I have, especially with fan placement. I think the most optimal setup would be 140mm rad in the front, and a 120mm rad in the back. This adds up to a total of 260mm of rad space to cool the CPU.

Should I just purchase a rasa kit and add a 140mm rad? You guys can always be super helpful and "try" to find me a whole build for around $200!

Thanks all!

I think you should explore the possibilities of a shared res for both Pc's,
say a 30l chillerbox that both Pc's feed into and take from, the increased water volume will make up for any lack of radspace and you can run one or both Pc's independantly,
insulating the tubing between Pc's will help keep the water cool on its travels and you will have a definite edge over a lot of Watercoolers with $$$'s more hardware

Well, I can't do that :p Cause I move the other rig around, and I don't know who it will end up with. Let's just focus on WC it, not anything that extreme.....

24/7 F@H rig!
