[SOLVED] WD 1TB HDD Green vs Blue

Just got a wd 1tb hdd and, i ordered a blue version but i got a green one, iam a bit worried since it's advertised as slower and i want to use it for gaming. How slow is it really? is it too noticable since iam currently using a blue one.
I also read that using sata 3 hdd into sata 2 motherboards (like mine) will reduce the hdd speed to match sata 2.(or something like that) so will blue or green even matter?

Green is slightly less faster then blue, whereas blue is for overall performance.
If you ordered a blue and recieved a green, don't bother using it. Return it and ask them to send you the correct one.

You will rarely saturate even a SATA2 bus with data from a mechanical hard drive. It does become a bottleneck with SSDs at times.

But yes, you'd rather have the blue over the green. It's a better, speedier drive.
