I am aware that defragmenting the SSD drive is unnecessary and will harm it's life span, I am not doing that.
I have set TRIM to be done weekly using the program that is used for WD BLACK SSDs: Screenshot by Lightshot (prnt.sc)
However in the past I have disabled the "Optimize and defragment" app that only runs the TRIM command just like the WD Black program: https://prnt.sc/1thhluy
Even if TRIM is scheduled to only run weekly, does TRIM still do something automatically every time I delete a file?
Does it matter if I use the WD Black application vs window's "optimize" scheduler? They both do the exact same thing which is to run a TRIM schedule but I'm wondering if I should just stick with the program meant for the drive.
