Hi,

I have a Lenovo Y-700-15ISK laptop with 128 GB SSD and 1 TB 5400 rpm WD Blue HDD.

The OS and the programs are installed on the SSD,and I install the games on the HDD.

As far as I know this HDD is energy efficient and it turns off, when no data is accessed from it,which causes freezings and FPS drops while playing games!

For an example, while I play ArmA 3 I get huge FPS drops and freezings;when I installed the same game with the same video settings on the SSD,the game run perfectly!

The problem is that I want to install the games not to the SSD,because it is only 128 GB,but to the HDD because the HDD is 1 TB !

So please help me to fix this issue with the HDD!

I have watched the following video from YouTube : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TTBF2vrTQAM

which is made exactly for resolving to my problem, and for my laptop's model, but it doesn't help me!

Please someone help me!
Thanks to all in advance!
Best regards!

Many thanks to all for replying to me!
But is there an another way for resolving my problem?
Because to be honest I don't have enough money to buy a new SSD!
So please help me somehow,to play the games installed on the HDD!

I play only 3 games on my laptop: GTA V ,NBA 2K17 and ArmA 3.

If I install the three games on the SSD it would be great, but the SSD has only 128 GB of storage ...

Is there a way I install the 3 games on the SSD?
But please mention that the OS is installed on the SSD!
