Hello everyone,
Complete and utter noob to computer building here. Today I received my new Wd blue SN550 1TB internal NVMe SSD and as a noob would do I failed to format before attempting to use Macrium Reflect and try to transfer everything from my terrible Seagate SSHD. While it was in the process it stated on screen there was no drive to copy the files to. I then realized my error and cancelled the process. I then went to format the drive and noticed it was only showing the drive at 465 GB total. I then did a quick search and learned I needed to partition the drive to get the full 1tb. I then went to Disk Management and noticed it already had a recovery partition and EFI system partition on the drive. I then decided I wanted to deleted everything from the drive to start fresh. I did more research how to delete these partitions and went to diskpart to delete them. I deleted them and went back to see if I could format and start over... However now it won't show up on "this PC" and when I go to disk management it sees it there but there is no option to change driver letter or format. It only says disk 1 and unallocated. In diskpart when I type "list volume" it only shows my primary drive and the SSD doesn't come up. Sorry for the long probably very confusing explanation. I will do my best to answer any questions as I really don't know what to do from here. I appreciate any help/advice in advance. Thanks.
