2TB is available now. It's just 2 memory chips, 1TB each. There is plenty of empty space to fit 4 chips to make it 4TB on a single side. I wish they would make a 3TB or 4TB single sided for laptops.

How good is this ssd for the price, planning to.buy one since its price is low here in our local store, was looking at a wd black ssd but i think its too much for me as my pc is for casual use only.

Just be aware that WD secretly changed some chip inside this disk and its 800MB/sek dropped to 400. Some chinese youtube guy discovered this: watch from 2,16:

WD was asked about it and admitted it happend. They were sorry and promised to change the disk name in the furure in case they will change the specs.
