Hello -

I am lifelong PC gamer, and just did my first ever gaming PC build. I am ecstatic about it; however, there is a final hurdle I cannot get past...

I built my PC, and my PC is using a WD BLUE SN550 NVMe SSD as its only storage. My BIOS (mobo is MSI MPG Z490 GAMING EDGE WIFI) cannot detect my SSD, and therefore I cannot install Windows 10 for my PC, as there is no drive available for it to digest the install.

My BIOS Mode is set to UEFI.

My SATA Mode is set to AHCI Mode.

I am using the latest BIOS (E7C79IMS.130).

I may need to update drivers; however, I can't find any drivers to update?

I have been troubleshooting for 2 days and have been unable to get past this hurdle. Any help is SO MUCH appreciated. Happy to provide more info if there are questions. Thank you in advance!

latest windows 10 installation media from microsoft website?

there is 2 m.2 slot, try them both?

Thanks @rgd1101, yep, latest one from the website. I haven't tried the 2 m.2 slot yet, just because the 1 m.2 slot has a "shield frozr" and the other one doesn't. That being said, I'll give this a try and let you know what I find out! Thanks for the reply.
