So i have been experiencing weak wireless internet connection. My pc is approximately 7 meters(22 feet) from both the modem and router.

extra info:
Router: Apple Airport Express
Modem: from the service provider
Plan: 3Mbps every month
PC wireless adapter: Tp link tp-wn881nd

p.s. i cant move the modem and router, nor can i route a Lan cable... what can i do to improve my connection?

Solution
If you are losing that much signal it implies you have very thick walls that block the signal very well.

On your diagram if you were to put the pc in the hall just outside the room how strong is the signal. You could use a USB nic card on a 15ft USB extension cable just outside the door. If 15ft is not long enough you could use a ethenet cable to a client-bridge device.

If it still works poorly just in the hall there likely is no way to fix this. A repeater would need to go in this hall also but if the PC does not work extremely well in the hall you will actually get worse signal because of the degradation due to the repeater.

It also could be as simple as turning your PC a different way in the room. This is the huge downside...
LAN cable would be the best solution. How come you can't use it?
Are you talking about signal weakness or speed? Because 3Mbps is pretty slow and there's nothing to be done other than pay for a better plan.

And if you're talking about signal then I can't be of much help there.

"Too far away"?
How come? Just use a longer cable. There are like 100m cables available...

As to a range extender... I just don't know... I suppose it might work. I don't have much experience with wireless.

Range extenders don't work really well usually. There are two problems with them. First, when you use one you cut your bandwidth in half on the wireless. Second, the extender would need to be somewhere between your current wireless and your PC. If the signal is weak for the PC it would be weak for an extender too so you must place it where it can get good signal from your wireless router, and where your PC can get good signal from it. The best solution would be an Ethernet wire from the router to your PC. The next best solution would be a MOCA adapter set if you can use COAX line, or a powerline adapter to send the signal over your house power wires.
