Web pages loading slow on system

Hello,
Iam running Windows XP sp3 ,firefox browser and my router and modem are fine. iam getting transferring /waiting for 5 minutes before it loads. each transaction on the page takes minutes. Ive disabled/repaired/enabled internet connection" several times with no success. Where can I look in my system?

May be there is Network Speed problem.
You should check your network speed through this link :
http://speedtest.net/

Thanks, Speed test showed I was okay. Found my kid firewalled my network after an upgrade. Close.
