Question Weird issue with notification sounds ?

I have a weird issue with my notification sounds when using speaker plugin. It was working fine yesterday but all of a sudden not anymore.

Sound on videos (Youtube et cetera) works just fine and when i switch to my monitor sound, connected to DisplayPort, then the notification sounds work just fine, but unfortunately the monitor speakers are really not good enough so i prefer to use my regular speakers

I've already checked any system settings i can think of, notifications are enabled and apparently my speakers work, since i can hear youtube, netflix.....
Anyone has an idea how to get that fixed?

Have you tried reinstalling the audio drivers for the integrated audio chip (assuming that's what you're using)? You can usually find them on your mobo manufacturers website.

yes i did uninstall and reinstalled the driver

What exactly is the issue that occurs with the notification sounds? You never really mentioned it just simply said it was a weird issue.

Finally found a solution
Inside system > Audio is a reset button, which did the trick
Still dont understand what happend but at least it got solved

It's Windows....no one really knows what makes the issues appear and then solve on their own....not even MS 🤣 🤣
