Question Weird looking air gap beneath the monitor screen

I recently sent my monitor (AOC 24G2SP) for dead pixel repairing, and when I got it back, I notice that there seems to be a thin layer of air beneath the screen. It is quite visible when I look at the screen from the side (viewed from <90 degree). Is this normal?

Is this normal?
The real question is, was it like this prior to being sent out for repair? If not, then the panel that was used isn't a like-for-like for your monitor or the repair wasn't done properly, leaving a gap between the panel and the monitor's bezel.
