Question Weird network showed up this morining maybes malware idk

Some weird network named FBI_Survelliance_69 appeared this morning now it has now changed its name to DIRECT_roku-910-31A223 with full bars and it is locked with a password. I looked up the mac address online and it says its a Unicast transmission. Any suggestions on what this could be or how this could have happened. I live in the middle of no where so I do not have any neighbours

The roku ones tends to be fairly common. Many of the remotes use wifi and will setup their own network. You can also see this on roku tv that have a mirror function. It is possible to configure them to run directly without a router.

The FBI one is likely some silly kid living near you. Can be coming from a car that is driving by.

You can try unplugging stuff and remove batteries from remotes until the signal disappears. If it is coming from outside your house you really don't care much, they are the ones that would have to worry about you hacking them.
