Hello i have this weird PC boot issue. I have secondary pc at home which has been sitting there. i decided to turn it on. It kept turning on, fans spinning everything lighting up, restarting itself few times eventually it would stop and run normally but i kept getting so signal on monitor. i replaced gpu and surprise it turned on. Craziest thing is that when i put old one back in it turned on normally. I reinstalled drivers did 40 min stress test. GPU showed no signs of failing. I kept restarting pc and it would turn on normally. However when i leave pc turned off for some time (around 1 hour) and i try to turn it on. It turns on then turns off for 2-3 times before eventually starts running and get into this screen ( View: https://imgur.com/a/sxGoNBT
)

It makes me go into bios, i change nothing and it loads into windows normally. Again no GPU, CPU or PSU issue. I stressed them with benchmarks

If i restart or shut down and turn it on immediately it turns on normally. If i let it sit for at least 30 minutes. It starts running then turning itself off few times before eventually loading into this screen which wants me to go into bios.

Please help…

This suggests a temperature contact issue whereby when the motherboard is completely cold there is a loss of contact somewhere due to its age. As all electronics warm and cool there is a small amount of expansion and contraction. It could be in the slot containing the gpu or the cpu or memory sockets. It sounds like when the motherboard warms up full contact is achieved at all of the connections and it works fine.

This is not fixable? Do i need new mobo?

Can this be sustained? It get can annoying but i can deal with booting into bios and then windows. But will it damage pc and stop working eventually?

Since you're using a socket 1151 motherboard and components replacing any part would be difficult or impossible. So the best you probably could do would be to try replacing the battery as helpstar suggested and keep using it the best you can until its totally dead. But all electronic components die eventually so you may want to plan on getting a new replacement system if you really need a second computer.
