So I have had a weird conundrum over the past few weeks. So back when i had my old PC with a crappy 13 4150 in it, the internet was pretty slow and I thought it was my ISP's problem. But when i got a new PC with a Ryzen 5 1600 in it, the speeds suddenly shot way up, so i though that my old CPU was simply bottlenecking my internet speeds. But recently my speeds have gone back to how they were with my old PC, I.E very slow and bad. Anyone know what the cause of this connection bottleneck is? Is it actually my cpu's fault or is it something different?

Problems with internet connectivity & speed are rarely if ever related to the CPU. Almost always related to the networking components, both internal & external, and/or bad networking cables.

Try replacing external networking cables. If no change, borrow another router/modem to see if yours is acting up.
