Weird problem with BC2 beta

I have been playing this game for about 2 hours a day, and sometime the game just force closes/kills itself. This happens at least 2 or 3 times times daily and it really bothers me because it screws up the rest of my computer too. So once i restart it is fine, but this shouldnt be happening. Thanks for any replies.

p.s. i tried all of the obvious things like drivers, reinstalling, etc.

Hey good to hear. That sounds a lot like that dragon age issue I was talking about. Something weird was going on with the FPS cap and some cards were throwing crashes unless vsync was on.

It is only by word of mouth but I read that the beta doesn't have a FPS cap. Hopefully it keeps stable for you now.

Fatal, I think that is a common issue. Issues updating has made their bug list. They suggest trying to run the updater as admin.

idk man I love the 94. Honestly, anything after the 94 is just as lethal.. but I already have like 3 or so gold stars with it so Im gunna keep using it to get platinum. I also started using the engineer kit, which was a nice change with no recoil.

Yeah same here. The AN with the 4x scope is my top choice at the moment. Eng. kit is usually my 2nd choice because gustaving down walls is pretty fun in hardcore games. The sub machine guns are great for head hunting too so it is not that bad of a kit IMO.

OK guys, i talked to a member of the team that challenged us, they have their own servers, they will give me the rest of the info tonight (address of server etc) Who can FOR SURE make it on thursday the 25th at 7pm central time? we only need 4 people.

est is one hour later than central. so that is 8pm eastern time and 7pm central time. So:
Me - for sure
Fatal - for sure

haha, nice thread you've got here. I won't be able to make Thursday anyway. The Philadelphia Union has their first game ever, so I'll be watching that. It starts at 9:30 EST, but a group of buddies that I have season tix with are coming over to drink beforehand. GL guys

Hey, do everything you can to fix that issue...it's not something we need in a clan battle.

IF you have to, try every Nvida driver for the last 3 months. Do a fresh install of windows!

Do what it takes, fix it!

eh, even the patch that came out today didnt help. well i think it might be a little bit better. but man idk... i think i am just going to have to deal with it. Im gonna go back to the latest stable nvidia driver... Um, how to I do that? just install it, or do i have to uninstall the one i have now?
