Weird problem with BC2 beta

I have been playing this game for about 2 hours a day, and sometime the game just force closes/kills itself. This happens at least 2 or 3 times times daily and it really bothers me because it screws up the rest of my computer too. So once i restart it is fine, but this shouldnt be happening. Thanks for any replies.

p.s. i tried all of the obvious things like drivers, reinstalling, etc.

Hey good to hear. That sounds a lot like that dragon age issue I was talking about. Something weird was going on with the FPS cap and some cards were throwing crashes unless vsync was on.

It is only by word of mouth but I read that the beta doesn't have a FPS cap. Hopefully it keeps stable for you now.

Fatal, I think that is a common issue. Issues updating has made their bug list. They suggest trying to run the updater as admin.

Quick question about the match on Thurs.

Is it still a 4 vs 4 ?

Do they have their own server, are we playing on it ?

Is everyone mic'd up and ready to go ?

I think we should set duties for the match, I will volunteer to be an engineer or assault, or even a sniper.

JD, you are really good at medic so maybe you will do that ?

Spinach is great with the AN 94, so maybe assault for you?

Who is the last person in the match, Fatal ?

He seems to be good at everything lol.

Yes everyone in this match has working mics right now as far as i know form the last 2 days

Yes i am a *great* medic lol i just need to hang back more and do my job instead of looking for kills

fatal is usually assault also most of the time i see him anyways

I would have thought that a 2 assault 2 medic combo would be preferable for you rather than 3 assault 1 medic if you don't need the engi. Saves faffing around for a kit switch if your medic goes down, plus the medic guns (M60 or XM8 LMG) with their power and magazine size will give good cover when the assault guys are needing to reload. Also 2 ammo packs and 2 health packs all dropped in the same place will give you a good balanced top up speed all round. Just a thought..

...because you are definitely in our clan... but thanks thats some good insight. and why would we want 4 packs in one place??? idk about you, but we DO NOT camp.
Also, i will try to only get defensive kills (no reference to what game says is a defensive kill), meaning if someone is coming toward me or if i see some and can get them. Just because i gotta stay alive to keep you guys up. In a game like this idc if i get one kill, we gotta win.
BTW they had a match on monday and they lost, so thats some good news.

Nah, a great day.
OK GUYS MAJOR NEWS, JUST TALKED TO THE WARFARE GAMING CLAN WE WERE SUPPOSED TO PLAY, AND THEY DROPPED FROM GAMEBATTLES. THEY SAID THEY DIDNT LIKE THE LEAGUE THERE.
So we just report that we won and its done with.
Sorry, I am as bummed as you guys.
