[SOLVED] Weird problem with DisplayPort-to-HDMI adapter ?

a strange thing happened to me, i go to remove hdmi cable and power supply from the monitor, i put everything back and nothing is visible anymore, this monitor is attached with a dp-hdmi adapter, which seems to have stopped working after doing this thing
it doesn't work on another monitor either
Video driver cleaned from safe mode with ddu
only thing the bios works with the adapter, but the resolution is very low compared to when it worked well
at this point the adapter started I think
I buy a new one and hope to fix
even putting it on the dp of the motherboard, it doesn't work

obviously everything goes on the hdmi of the video card, both monitor and tv
