[SOLVED] Weird sound from my PC

Hi guys,

I built my pc over a month ago now, and everything has been all good up until about a week ago i'd say. I started noticing a rattling/grinding type sound coming from my PC. I suspect it is one of the fans, but I for the life of me can't tell which component it could be.

Have any of you experienced this, if so, what did you do to solve this type of issue?

for the case fans you could unplug them and see if sound is up also if you have a gpu could you remove it from board and use onboard for sound test .

That's a fair shout, I don't have onboard GFX unfortunately, but ill test the pc case fans.

Ok I've done this, thank you so much for the tip, as I've figured out that the middle fan at the front of my case is the culprit.

Now I just need to figure out how to get to the fan lol, but thanks again though

It's the CiT Quantum Blue LED Tempered Glass Mid Tower Case, ngl, they could have been a bit clearer on how to remove the front panel of the case, it's almost like it is soldered on lol

swwif you could ot unclip front cover also remove psu cage in case there are hidden screws for the fan holder could not find in case manual .
