Weird soundcard and GPu problem

I have a weird problem.

My gpu is working, but if i insert anything in my sound card the pc freezes, and then the pc starts up with the onboard GPU.
i think my onboard soundcard isnt working, so i try to use an other one.

Also something weird with the soundcard, if i put my audio into the line in. of the PC i can listin through it, if i plug in a headset into the speaker, without seeing anything happening in widnwos?

Is just the soundcard broken, or is the whole system unstable ?

Ok i removed the soundcard, i guess its broken,
but now after installing the onboard etc, i see its working, but i dont get sound through a headset ie.
but if i record the video, and play it on my main pc i do get sound.
but i need to get the sound working else my linein isnt working either.

Can you please pass on your full systems specs inclusive of your OS and your peripherals(namely headset)? Are you sure you've connected the headset into the appropriate ports?

You might also want to make sure your 3.5mm audio jack conforms to your systems input/output ports, here.
