Question Weird system problem!

Okay I have this workstation for a while. Lenovo ThinkStation P320 Tiny with the following specs:

CPU: Intel Core i7-6700T / 2.50GHz
GPU: Nvidia P600
RAM: 32GB
SSD: 512 GB
Windows 11

Today I completed all the parts for the eGPU I wanted to make for this mini pc. I ordered some PCI raiser from Aliexpress, a nice 500 power supply and decent RX 6500 XT graphics card. The raiser is X1 PCIe. When I tried to connect them all together today, I think that I saw a little spark in the x8 PCIe slot. It's native PCIe slot is x8 and there's an x16 adapter connected to it for it's P600 GPU. Now the problem is that when I connect it's power supply, the machine starts automatically without me pressing the power button, then the fan starts at max speed and is kinda noisy, no modules work, USB Wi-Fi Antenna, keyboard, mouse nothing. Also no signal on the TV where I have connected it using Mini DP to HDMI.

I tried every possible diagnosis I know, couldn't find where the issue is. Is it possible that the whole MB is screwed? Anything helps. Thanks.

PS: I can record the startup of the system if that helps.

While I'm trying to wrap my head around what the end goal with your parts are function wise.. Please tell us was the PC running?

Or did it spark when you hit the power button.
The PC was running when I noticed the spark, I was trying to remove the mini PCIe adapter while the pc was running, I think it was the mistake.

No ram at all, no GPU, no SSD, still remains the same, the moment I press the power button, the fan simply starts spinning at max speed and that's it, nothing else. Everything we know is that the power is coming to the motherboard but it gives no signs that it's alive.

Even on the used market your mini PC is not cheap. Really no telling what that jolt from the spark did to the motherboard or even the CPU.

Your PC at current market value between the damage that happened to now patching it up seems like a money pit.

Between a replacement whole unit, or finding a motherboard . I found replacement BIOS chips off ebay none if any has the guarantee that even if you get back to a working system and again move forward with riser for PCI-E to a GPU will even work.

I wish I had better news.

Is there a way or a friend that can test your CPU. If that still works maybe try to salvage what you can and just move forward with a desktop tower/ motherboard and go from there or sell parts and do a justifiable massive leap while you grit your teeth and do the unwanted and unexpected upgrades to get to where in the beginning you were trying to end up.
