Good evening folks!

I recently bought a Logitech G815 keyboard. I'm using the ECHO PRESS lightmode on it (G Hub). I noticed that when I press ALT + TAB or WIN + TAB, only ALT and WIN have the color effect. Other way around and TAB alone works fine. Why is that?

It is a small thing but being a bit of a perfectionist it annoys me. I'm not sure if this is even the right place to ask this but didn't find a good way to contact Logitech with this matter so I landed here. 😁

Thanks for your help!

Not sure that I am fully following the question.

However the key sequences are important. Each key that is pressed presents input to the software in the form of a code unique to that key.

If two keys are required then the software does what it is supposed to do based on those two keys being pressed.

The order may or may not matter: the code simply does the same thing once the input is parsed.

If input = ALT + TAB or TAB + ALT or ALT then Color Effect = _____

(Not intended to be real code or represent real code.....)

Google Keyboard codes.

For your requirements, as I understand them, simply press the keys in the order/manner you prefer.

I meant that if I press a key, it changes it's color for a specific amount of time and then returns to the original color. But when I press ALT + TAB, only ALT changes it's color. Same with WIN + TAB. Also PRINT SCREEN doesn't change it's color. If I press ALT or WIN alone, it changes the color like it should.

Seems like the color effect from G Hub doesn't work on Windows commands.

I shot a video to demonstrate this. In it you can see the leds turn from white to blue when pressed.

Are you using the default settings or using some created customized settings on the G Hub?

Is there any other software installed that could be using/applying some keyboard modifications to customize keys? Games, apps, utilities?

For example:

And there are many other similar links to be found.

The objective being to determine what is supposed to happen when keys are pressed and compare that to what actually happens.

My recommendation is to completely uninstall G Hub and start over. Make one simple custom change and be sure that that change is saved via some "Ok", "Save", "Yes" confirmation.

If the change works as expected then try another change.
