Hey guys , possibly stupid question but we’re would you put your best case fan ??? I have a phanteks enthoo pro TG with two 144mm fans up front sucking air in and another 144m on the back sucking air out. Then I have an kraken x62 aio liquid cooler radiator on steam top exhausting air as well. I still have a spot for one more fan at the bottom across from the psu so why not throw one in 🤷‍♂️ Whatever I get will prob be better then the stock case fans so I was wondering were you would put it to make the most deference ? I was thinking on the back as the exhaust

Having more fans does not automatically mean more cooling. In fact, if the fans are not placed properly then the air flows could actually be restricted/reduced.

I would read the CPU, the GPU, the motherboard, and the case documentation to determine where the fan(s) should be placed.

Two manuals with respect to the case.

http://www.phanteks.com/assets/manuals/PH-ES614PTG_Western.pdf

http://www.phanteks.com/assets/manuals/PH-ES515P_Western.pdf

Both manuals have a section on Fan compatibility.

If I did not find the applicable manual in the above links then go to Phanteks website and find the applicable manual.

That manual should be the starting point with regards to placing additional fans.

huh, I wasn't aware more wasn't always better in this case. I looked and no manual really says anything about the best way to set it up, just were the allotted places to put them are and what's compatible. in my case I can still actually fit two fans on the bottom but one seems silly as its under my PSU. in any case I still have one fan that's of better quality then the rest , and I was wondering were the best place to put your best fan would be?
