Western Digital 2 TB Internal SATA Drive

Good Evening,
I just received a Western Digital WD20EARS that is not recognized by my PC while using a USB Docking Bay.
I have a Western Digital WD10EADS- 1 TB that has served me well for years.
Is there something that I am overlooking, or do I have a bad unit?

Make sure your BIOS is up to date and is capable of interacting with drives that size.

Try connecting it internally. If it works, then that would indicate the USB docking bay does not support 2TB drives.
