WG U5000 med Res Monitor board

Hi All,
I have a NFL Blitz 4 player game that has a 25" med Res screen. The
monitor only has the horizontal line running across it. I might atempt
fixing the board, but some one or thing got into it and really messed
up traces and stuff.

Can you use the new replacement boards that are out there for the
monitor on Med res tubes?

If you mean the Jenn-Shinn, 8liners, Alva Amusement, Wei-ya the answer
is NO. However, all is not lost. Wells-Gardner makes a conversion kit
to upgrade it to the k7500 series (medium res).

Call the parts department at Wells-Gardner (1-800-336-6630 or
708-290-2100) and order one of Service Kit # S02J0000-000F U5000 to
K7500 kit. This includes main board, neck board, remote adjust board,
yoke, and transistor assembly. You cannot reuse the old U-5000 yoke as
the k7500 yoke is different.

Is the U5000 a POS? I donot know what some one did to it , but bent
over resistors,traces pulled off neck board and fixed wires.

About how much is the conversion kit, ?
