My case is black, so I was thinking I would go with black fans.

I was trying to decide between these two:

https://noctua.at/en/nf-s12a-pwm-chromax-black-swap

https://noctua.at/en/nf-a12x15-pwm-chromax-black-swap

Looks like the A12 fans have higher rpm and come in a slim configuration because they are only 15mm deep instead of the 25 mm which (I think?) is standard for PC case fans.

The S12A appears to be recommended by Noctua as a case fan with good performance, while they recommend NF-A12x25 for overall best performance. However, the NF-A12x25 is not available in black, so it's not an option.

What do you guys think? I was thinking since the A12x15 isn't the standard size for cases (25mm), I should go with the S12A since it's 25mm, the typical pc case size.... presumably it's more likely compatible with my case.

Noiseblockers also make good quiet fans. i would advise against slim fans because you don't have any dimensional limitations which a SFF case would have. To note, slimmer fans tend to be noisy at the same RPM and same fan size since the blades have to chop through more air to get the same amount of airflow.
