What about the memory controller?

I am going to build a gaming pc with a I7 4770K. But it says that you can use 1600 Mhz RAM max. So I don't know if the comlete 1866 Mhz from the RAM are used.
And if it might be better to buy 1600 Mhz clocked RAM.

I use 2400MHz on 4670K and its running fine. You can run 1866MHz just fine in 4770K. Remember to enable XMP in the BIOS to run 1866.
