What AMD CPU to change to?

Hi all!

So news that will blow you mind!:

The AMD fx 9590........
Is garbage! yayyyyyyyy

the thing overheats like a toaster and many are telling me the thing is bottlenecking my GTX 970 hard.

However with a pretty awesome motherboard im afraid switching to intel sadly isn't really an option for the moment but im keen to grab a new processor soon.

What do you guys reckon the best AMD processor out there is in terms of performance that doesn't overheat like a waffle iron and will compliment my GPU?

Well for future proof i would go with i7 4790 or 4790k but if that doesnt fit in the budget go for i5 4590 or 4590k.
