I have a asus strix gtx970, its been 3 to 4 years now, after assembling my pc self,
So today i removed the graphics card, and opened it, as there was dust accumilated in fins. While cleaning the thermal paste from the gpu chip, i found micro transistors surrounding the main gpu chip,in the gpu enclosure,
My q is what are those for???

Likely not transistors, but they could be capacitors, resistors, maybe diodes. Capacitors are often used as filters on longer communication runs, prevents interference from causing false positives. Diodes can be used to prevent feedback and leakage current. Resistors are often used as pull downs to ground so that you don't have floating zeros, again primarily used against interference.

For more detailed answers. you'll have to talk to the board designer.
