This depends on what the manufacturer states, for that specific cable.

Yep, that's why it's fiber. I guess when you start running that long regular HDMI has problems.

I'm just wondering why that length is needed, and how you control the system at the far end.
150" screen at one end of the basement. 40' fiber HDMI to the projector. Bought this to connect to my PC on the other end of the room. Recently started playing Sunderfolk with friends and family.
