[SOLVED] What cable is this, did i break something?

So im upgrading my pc and got a fractal design focus g case with comes with this front panel cable

However i think its usb 3.0 but there no way it will fit
Can anyone explain?

It has one row of pins, nothing else

It looks like a SATA data cable, with part of the hard drive broken off and sticking out of the cable ...

The front panel has usb 3.0/2.0, and audio and power/led. Pretty basic.

Op, there's only one solution, you'll have to chase that wire down, find out exactly where it does come from. Usb3 is 19/20 pin double row, long rectangular block, USB2 is 9/10 pin double row, short rectangular block. Should have 1 of each. The power/leds should be singular pins, and the HD audio will be the longest wire and looks similar to USB2.

my front panel has a sata power cable to power the fan controller it has built in to it.
Case is COUGAR Panzer MAX
