i just bought a new motherboard and i dont know if it has a bios verison, because i bought it as a BULK version and what i read is that it doesnt came with any softwere. so im wondering if this thing is even going to work or not?

If your mobo doesn't have bios, then it's defective as the Co workers forgot to program it.
You can program it, but you need special equipment and they are expensive and not meant for consumers but for hardware companies; so a refund is your only option and replacement is the way to go if it's under warranty .

oh sry.
it is a asus prime x470-pro
It must have a BIOS, it's a chip soldered to MB. BIOS and SW you can find here: https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/PRIME-X470-PRO/ can't tell you which BIOS version as it depends on when it was made. You need a Ryzen 1st or 2nd gen to find out, for 3rd gen Ryzen it needs more recent BIOS version.
PS, Why another thread ehn you already got and answer in previous one ?
