This is very much a genuine question because I can not for the life of me find a suitable option and also because I have no idea what to select from.

I have my PC upstairs in my bedroom (back of house), which is above the lounge. Ehternet port is to the front of the house (inside)

So, I got full fibre installed, and they very "conveniently" cut us off from our old provider straight away. My existing ehternet cable is far too short to reach the new home hub, which had led me on the search to find a new one.

The only thing I know is that Cat6 is more than sufficient to maintain good speeds. This is the only one I have seen thus far. I have no idea if it is any good:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07V5GG...e=osi&th=1&psc=1&ascsubtag=ecSEPkiz7jlvcm974i

Any help will be greatly appreciated, especially when it comes to which ones are suitable.

I use the Internet for gaming, streaming, and editing.

Do you want bulk cable or a pre-terminated cable?
The cable you linked-to is an outdoor rated cable, is the path of this cable outdoors?
The key thing to look for with cable is that it is 100% copper. Next wire gauge of 24 (remember higher wire gauge means SMALLER wires -- bad).

It is an indoor cable. I hadn't thought of this before you now asked. I also found two others but they aren't terminated and I have no idea where to start when it comes to doing anything like that.

These are the two that I found:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Oren-Ether...pcontext&ref_=fplfs&psc=1&smid=A3NCY3JSLAXG14

https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01HVTV...e=osi&th=1&psc=1&ascsubtag=ecSEPc9otjlvcp04th

Are there any similar ones to these that are already pre-terminated?

You MIGHT be limiting your search results if you are explicitly looking for "cat6" Cat6a is probably more common.
There are guides if you want to terminate bulk cable -- https://reolink.com/blog/how-to-terminate-ethernet-cable/
You need a special crimp tool. Some RJ45 connectors and I would recommend a basic tester.
These days, RJ45s come in two basic flavors. Regular and pass-thru. You need a crimper that matches the style of RJ45.
This is a US link but I recommend a basic tester like this -- https://www.amazon.com/Ethernet-Connections-Klein-Tools-VDV526-200/dp/B0925826M2?th=1

There are cables like this listed -- https://www.amazon.co.uk/Mr-Tronic-Ethernet-Network-Colour/dp/B07LGC9HBT/ DON'T BUY THEM. Notice that "copper" is not listed, and "CCA" IS listed. This means copper clad aluminum. That is BAD. DON'T GET CCA cable.

Thank you for all of the help. I really appreciate it. I will definitely keep it in mind if I decide to go down the route of terminating a cable in the future.

As of now I'll buy one that is pre-terminated. I have since found this one: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0C3SXRVQW
Is this one good enough?

You might want to look for cat5e instead. Pretty much if you want to run 1gbit you only need cat5e. If you are going to run 10gbit you run cat6a.

Do you really need 50 meters and does it really have to be outdoor cable. If you are running it where it can get wet or in the sun you need outdoor cable.

I tired a quick search for 50 meter cat5e on amazon uk and it seems almost everything is CCA or outdoor cable. A 50 meter cat5e cable rated for indoor use should be about 25% less that what you are seeing on the cable you list.

If nothing else the cable you linked will be fine.

You have explained everything incredibly well. Sorry if I sounded daft at times without knowing what's what.

I am using it for indoor purposes, but I only ever see outdoor cables, which is why I linked the last one I did. Just wanted to double-check to see if it was good for indoor usesge well. Didn't want to waste money.

As far as indoor cables go, I have found this one. This is the last one I'll link, promise! https://shorturl.at/glG57

Thank you once again!

Maybe hard to say wish they would be more clear. Seem is it solid copper wire which is good. If the photo matches the real cable then it appears to be proper wire size. Be nice if they told you the actual wire size.
Too bad there are no better photos from end customers most valid wire prints the wire size on the side of the cable. The one photo does appear to be at least awg24. It is not that crap awg 30 stuff

The wire size is much more important when you are going longer distance.
