I've run into a serious issue with my Odyssey G6 monitor and I could really use some help figuring out whether the problem lies with the monitor or my GPU.
I bought the Odyssey G6 around three months ago, and it worked perfectly until one day, my motherboard(Monitors motherboard) suddenly died. I sent it back to the shop for repairs. They fixed it and also updated the firmware. Ever since I got it back, I’ve been experiencing a strange issue:

For those who can’t or don’t want to open the video — the issue is that ever since the monitor was repaired and returned, I’m getting random black screen flashes when opening certain apps. It doesn’t always happen — it's inconsistent — but for example, if I have Wallpaper Engine and Chrome running at the same time, the screen constantly flashes black while Chrome is open.
Interestingly, I noticed that if I enable the "Adaptive Sync Compatible" setting in the AMD driver, the issue disappears completely. But previously, I never had this setting enabled, and the monitor worked flawlessly.
Could it be that the firmware update now requires this setting to be enabled? I’m using a 6900 XT GPU. I’ve tested with multiple cables, used DDU to clean and reinstall all drivers, but the issue persists.
Sure, I could just leave Adaptive Sync enabled and move on, but it really bothers me that I now have to use a setting that I didn’t need before — and I’d like to understand why.
Any tips or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
