Built my first pc about 15 months ago, never had any problems with it till now could it be the power supply or motherboard?

It powers on fine works good, but after a few days monitor goes dark can't power it down by holding power have to turn off the switch on the power supply, I am using the onboard video.

Thinking it is the mobo, will be running a stress test to see if it is the power supply, When I power down, restart pc does same thing don't see anything on the monitor but when I open the case and unplug everything then plugging it back in pc will restart fine and work for a few days.

get a mobo from a local store with a return policy. Put it in your rig and plug everything in, if the problem goes away you know it's the mobo. If problem percists a few days down teh road it's the psu and you can return the mobo or exchange it for the psu :p

I just remembered i was using this Corsair CMPSU-750HX with a GTX 470 and had zero problems, so thinking it's the OCZ600MXSP that might be going bad, but wondering when a psu it dying would it still power on the pc? I switched the Corsair because using it with my new build.
