What CPU would be better?

So I purchased a 1080 Founders Edition not to long ago, and I'm trying to get a new CPU for it. What are the minimum CPU's I should.
Please if you know good ones, give me a list of both Intel and AMD. I'm just trying to find something affordable.

Intel i5 7600k or AMD Ryzen R5 1600x. Anything else would be counter productive.
