my current board has a Socket LGA 1155 (Ivy Bridge, Sandy Bridge) Intel H61 Express
whats a good cpu to use for this im currently using a i3 4th gen but im getting a pretty bad bottleneck
i was looking at the: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116502&cm_re=intel_i7_LGA_1155-_-19-116-502-_-Product
budget:$300 max (if necessary) i would also like to do some overclocking as well so my card can work like the 270x

sweet because i might get a r9 280x later down the road
i decided to go with this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116504&cm_re=intel_i5-_-19-116-504-_-Product
i had to use LGA 1155 with ivy bridge but i found the one you recommended but i went with the k edition since its a bit better for only 20 dollars

The one you went with is the same processor but unlocked so you can overclock it. Unfortunately, you need a Z series motherboard to do that with but the one 3570K will work just fine on your board. You just won't be able to use it to it's full potential.

alright i suppose i'll stick with the 3570 b/c i found one that is is a 1155 with ivy

All 3570's are LGA1155 Ivy Bridge.
