What Do I Choose Intel or AMD

Alright so I cant decide what to go intel or amd I want the 4690k but its not budget friendly im trying to stay within $600 US dollars and with the 4690k its in the $750 is it worth the extra and my gpu will be an r9 380.

The i5 4460 is much cheaper than the 4690k. You could consider skylake.

No I don't need an os and I don't want to go skylake I would rather stay with haswell but the i wanted the 4690k because of the overclock capability.

This is within 600$ and will game better than a highly overclocked 8350, and even if you wanted to overclock the 8350 it would cost you a decent amount of money for the cooler if you wanted a good overclock.

here is proof, the 9590 is effectively an 8350 overclocked to 5ghz and the 4460 which is less powerful than the 6500 and an older architecture beats the 9590 in every gaming benchmark.

I don't see why your against skylake as it is about the same price as haswell but even if you did go with the 4460 haswell you would still be better off than getting an 8350.

The only reason I want haswell is theres a deal on the 4690k for $45 dollars off.
