Question What do i do if my VGA led is turned on in the Gigabyte AB350 Gaming 3?

Also my monitor doesnt show the gigabyte logo on start up.

Im asking because my pc is not posting I am really confused as well because all the CPU, DRAM, and BOOT troubleshooting LED's are turned off except the VGA one. What should I do?

So i need to replace my current cpu for a apu? Can I buy a gpu seperatly instead?

You either need:

A) Buy a discrete GPU
B) Buy an APU

Really any PCIe GPU will work for a descrete GPU. A GT1030 is a cheaper new GPU that should work, but a used RX 570 is a better value.
If you want an APU, your best choices are the 2200g or 2400g.

I just got the GTX Evga 1060 3gb and the VGA led turned off. good sign right? But still no post

Yea thats a good sign.
Do any other lights light up?

I would reseat ram and cpu. Make sure the monitor is plugged into the 1060.

All 4 lights are off, how do I reset the cpu and ram?

Take the ram out and put 1 stick back in.

Take cpu out, make sure no pins are bent, and put it back in.

Sometimes something doesnt make a good connection.
