What do I need to upgrade?

I am having issues running games. The game that is really struggling is Euro Truck Simulator 2. I`m not sure why my system is having such trouble running this game since I have seen people with the same graphics card and a worse processor run it better. I am thinking it might be my cpu that is struggling and I want to upgrade it to a FX-8350 or 8370. What do you guys recommend to make my system run these games better, my budget is $200. Do i buy a better graphics card, or a better CPU.

My Specs:
CPU: AMD FX-4130
Graphics: GTX 750 2GB
RAM: 8 GB
Storage: 1TB Western Digital Blue
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3

So overall I think i need to upgrade my cpu because others have told me that it is weak. But then again I just want to make sure that upgrading my cpu will boost in game preformance. I think my cpu can`t take advantage of my full gpu potential but I am not sure. So should I upgrade my cpu to a 8350 or 8370, or should I upgrade my gpu. Thanks

Both, GPU and CPU, could use an upgrade.

In CPU intensive games, you will find Intel performing far superior to AMD.

For around $200, I would upgrade to a Skylake system:

Both CPU and your gpu are fairly weak but unless the game is CPU intensive it would be a good idea to upgrade your gpu first then latter upgrade CPU but...

A suggestions would be sell the gtx 750 and maybe the fx CPU to expand your budget

I researched that game and you d that it's not very well CPU optimized so here is a CPU and gpu that each are an improvement although you won't see much on the CPU side

Also if you like you could overclock the CPU and just get the gpu
