What do I upgrade to run games on higher graphics settings?

Do I simply need a new graphics card? Or do I updated specs? Trying to play the game Paragon on high settings (currently too intensive for my setup). These are my specs:

How you measured your fps? Your rig should do fine.

However, Paragon recommends playing on medium settings with the GTX 770. https://www.epicgames.com/paragon/en-US/faq

You should be getting an average of 74 fps when playing on medium settings.\

If you want to play on high/epic setting, you will need a gpu upgrade. The gtx 1060/rx480 would do great.

I suspect on that game a 1060 would out perform the 480 (most dx11 or sooner games do) if you're looking more towards the future the 480 seems better in dx12 (small sample size admittedly I'm existence today)
