What do VRAM issues look like?

I'm getting these minor glitches in MSI Kombustor where occasionally these lines will go over while I'm stress testing. It looks like glitches but it might be VRAM issues. How can i know for sure?

Yeah it's on stock settings. But for vram issues, do the lines appear stationary or moving?

So I tested this in Kombustor. Could the glitches just happen because I enabled antialiasing?

Possibly but have never seen glitches from AA myself. Frame lag and low fps yes, but its hard to say without seeing them. Can you get a screengrab or something? As long as you dont get it in games and other 3d appz I wouldnt worry too much, but might be good to make sure for peace of mind.

Okay so I can send you a video and a screenshot. Here's the video (it's in 29 fps for now but Im uploading one that's in 60 fps): https://vid.me/2djp
And here is the screenshot: http://imgur.com/a/W5jhi

Also, what exactly is your definition of a glitch?

Hey so here's the 60 fps version of the video: https://vid.me/MDTy

I'm guessing you are using some recording software, rather than videoing from a separate camera. That would explain why we don't see an issue, yet you might. If that is the case, the problem is not with the GPU, but your monitor, or port to the monitor. Basically, everything is rendering fine, but the display is getting artifacts from something between the connection, cable or display.

Oh okay it's fine, I was trying to show you in 60 fps anyway. Also, from like 4 seconds into the video all the way to the bluish sphere, I thought that specific sphere had some glitches. But when I turn off anti-aliasing and stress test or actually looked at the video instead of stress testing, I didn't really see anything wrong.

Gotcha, so any idea what could cause this and/or how to fix it?

Try another monitor (to confirm it's the display), or cable, or type of cable.

Alright. If it is the monitor, is there anything I can do about it?

Could you do me a favor and see this Uningine Valley test? I just want to make sure there aren't any errors, glitches, or atrifacts. Thanks. https://vid.me/ranj

Alright thanks. Could someone take a look at this one too? This is part 2 of it, I just want to make sure it's fine.https://vid.me/swPK

The video itself looks normal to me. Have you had a chance to test another monitor or GPU? The rendering of the video is normal, but somewhere after rendering, it is getting corrupted in the displaying of it. It could possibly be the GPU port, cable, or monitor. Testing the PC on another display would be the first thing you should do, then test out another GPU if that looked the same to you.

No I actually haven't. I'm thinking of getting a new monitor soon though, so that might fix it. But the gpu and rendering look fine to you correct?
