Some fantastic deals are on for prime day atm, get this.
The hybrid drive isn't a good choice, save for a 960 Evo and add that in.
The only issue with the monitor is the fact that your system will be overkill for that resolution and refresh rate with anything over a 1070.

Second. If its overkill with a 1070? why add a 1080? why is the hdd bad?

I made that and edited it when I saw your monitor thing.
The HDD isn't bad, just not good value. Costs 50% more for very little performance.

Absolutely dreadful value.
You also need a monitor.
For that same cost I can get you a 1080 Ti which performs 35% faster, or a 1080 system with a 1080p 144hz monitor.
Refer to the lists I made, they're the best you can do.

Keep in mind what I said though, you need at least a 1080p 144hz monitor to take full advantage of its power.

The two boards I selected are far better value and offer the same for less pretty much.
The Fractal R5 is solid but overpriced.
Also no, with this price go for 16, 8GB is kinda minimum, 16 is optimal.

Both are fantastic, whichever you like the look of.
EVGA are probably the best brand around for GPUs, fantastic customer service, they go out of their way and put any issue behind the company, and will not charge you for shipping.
Support and long warranty combined with high build quality make them probably the best around.
Here's an alternative if you really don't want the SC though, I recommend the Amp Extreme or FTW.

I think you should go with the FTW for $50 more only IF it's in your budget, as in you have $1300 to spare.
The SC is still a fine card, the FTW is just nice to have if OCing.
If not OCing go SC.
