This pc is just going under a desk for a couple years, so no need for a upgrade path. This PC will die before they upgrade, but thank you for the ideas. Are any of these overpriced or have better choices.
 
Guess I've always had great screens for work and study (been using 5K since 2014), so going back to 1080 or even 1440 would destroy my soul.

I do have a 24" 1080 (144hz) for gaming, and that's fine, but that's gaming only.

Maybe the option is the best monitor you can get now, no GFX card (use the onboard), then add a 1050ti in a few months when you have the cash.
